Rigathi Gachagua Leadership Framework on Public Resource Protection

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has articulated a framework for national restoration that centers on the fundamental principles of integrity and systemic reform.

Gachagua’s vision is  tailored for a future United Alternative Government, and moves beyond temporary political rhetoric to address the deep-seated challenges of economic mismanagement and social injustice.

Going by his  recent post on his X account, the strategy aims to reshape the relationship between the state and its citizens, ensuring that leadership is defined by transparency and the protection of public interests.

Gachagua on Economic Restoration

Economic stability is built on the bedrock of institutional trust and the proposed agenda for a new administration emphasizes that the path to recovery lies in the aggressive pursuit of accountability for those who have historically exploited public resources.

By targeting “corrupt oligarchs” and “looters,” the focus shifts toward reclaiming the nation’s wealth to fund essential sectors such as education and healthcare.

The goal is to dismantle a culture of impunity that has previously hindered growth which will bring the sesetivity  that public funds are directed toward empowering the youth and stabilizing the cost of living. The United Alternative Government seeks to build an economy that is resilient against the influence of private interests.

Gachagua on Land Justice and Security

Land ownership remains a cornerstone of social and economic dignity in Kenya and by addressing the “worst magnitude” of land grabbing requires a rigorous, legalistic approach to restore property to its rightful owners, particularly in vulnerable regions like Kajiado County.

A sustainable governance model must prioritize the protection of these assets to foster an environment where residents can invest in their future without fear of displacement or exploitation.

Internal  national security is viewed through the lens of institutional strength thus the rejection of “goonism” and organized violence is presented as a prerequisite for a functional democracy.

By drawing parallels to global examples of militia-led instability, the vision for 2027 emphasizes the urgent need to strengthen the rule of law.

Ensuring that infrastructure development, such as improved roads in Kiserian, is delivered as a right rather than a political favor is central to this mission of restoring public trust and ensuring a stable, peaceful transition for the nation.
